     1. Purpose(assignment)
     ----------------------
The program provides input, storage, updating and
Display of circuits of electric circuits of electrosubstations (of Sergov
PES) also it is intended for creation of directory system.
Use of the program is possible as the editor in systems,
Carrying out calculations under circuits of electric circuits.

     2. Conditions of application
     ----------------------------
     2.1. Necessary means
IBM PC XT/AT - the compatible personal computer in structure:
     - Volume of operative memory not less 512KB;
     - Graphic adapter EGA or VGA;
     - The store on a floppy disk 5.25" 2S/2D.

     2.2. Information compatibility
The environment of execution(performance) of the program - MS-DOS is not lower than the version 3.0.

     2.3. Organizational requirements
Before use of the program in quality
Directory system it is necessary "to fill" its base
Given by the information: to enter the list of substations, circuits their electric
Circuits and the characteristic of elements of the circuit, the instruction for the personnel.

     3. The complete set of delivery
     -------------------------------
     Diskette (5.25" 2S/2D) in structure:
     SERGO.EXE - the editor of circuits of circuits;
     README.COM - the browser of texts;
     README. - the brief user's guide;
INSTRUCT.MNU - an example of the menu of instructions.

     4. Start
     --------
     4.1. Start from a diskette
     1) To insert a diskette into the disk drive, for example in disk drive A, and to make
        His(its) current:
        > A:
     2) To start program SERGO:
        > SERGO

4.2. Start from a hard disk
     1) To create the catalogue on a hard disk, for example:
        C: > MD SERGO
     2) To copy contents of a diskette in the catalogue of a hard disk,
        For example:
        C: > COPY A:*.* C:\SERGO
     3) Enter the catalogue, for example:
        C: > CD SERGO
     4) To start program SERGO:
        C:\SERGO > SERGO

     5. The given programs
     ---------------------
The data with which the program works is possible to break on two
Groups:
     1) Commands of the user, entered from the keyboard of the terminal
        (are described in section 7).
     2) Files.
The program uses files of the following types:

     -----------------------
     Name of a file Contents
     -----------------------

     STATIONS.X The List of substations
< an index of substation > .EMP the Circuits of substation
     INSTRUCT.MNU The Menu of instructions
     Any the Instruction

Files STATIONS.X and < an index of substation > .EMP are created and
Are corrected by the program automatically during its(her) work.
< the index of substation > represents an integer and are calculated
The program.
For maintenance of work of the program it is necessary with the help of anyone
ƌ the editor to create files of instructions and the menu of instructions.
The line of a file of the menu of instructions INSTRUCT.MNU should have the following
Format:
< a name of a file of the instruction > < the name of the instruction >
The length of a name of a file of the instruction should not exceed 12 symbols, and
Names - 30 symbols.

     6. Functioning
     --------------
     6.1. Work from menus.
The basic commands accessible to the user in a present situation of work
With the program are deduced in the menu - the bottom line of the screen. The menu contains
a designation of a key on which the command is caused, and
The brief name of the command. Purpose(assignment) of some below is resulted
The universal keys used as commands:
---------------------------------------------------------
     Key Purpose(assignment)
---------------------------------------------------------
LeftArrow To move the cursor on the screen
     Right Arrow
     UpArrow
     DownArrow
     PgUp
     PgDn
     Ctrl-LeftArrow
     Ctrl-RightArrow
     Home

     CR to open, choose, enter
------------------------------------------------------------
     Tab To switch
------------------------------------------------------------
     Ins to add, draw
------------------------------------------------------------
     Del to remove, erase
------------------------------------------------------------
     Esc to cancel, finish
------------------------------------------------------------

     6.2. Functioning the program
After start of the program on the screen are deduced the list of substations and
The list of instructions. The cursor (the highlighted line) is in the list
Substations.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Commands for the list of substations
---------------------------------------------------------------------
To move the cursor (to choose substation).
Ins To add substation.
Del To remove substation (together with the circuit).
F5 To correct the name of substation.
CR To proceed(pass) to work with the circuit . Circuits of substation.
Tab To be switched to the list of instructions.
Esc To finish work.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

After switching on the list of instructions the cursor is in
The list of instructions.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Commands for the list of instructions
---------------------------------------------------------------------
To move the cursor (to choose the instruction).
CR To cause (to show) the instruction.
Tab To be switched to the list of substations.
Esc To finish work.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

After a call of the instruction on the screen it is deduced instructions.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Commands for the text of the instruction
----------------------------------------------------------------------
By commands of moving of the cursor it is carried out
Moving under the text (up-down, to the right - to the left)
Esc To return to the list of instructions
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The field of the circuit of power circuits of substation represents
Lattice formed(educated) invisible vertical and horizontal
Lines. The crosswise cursor of white color moves on sites
Lattices. On the screen the site of a field of the circuit (window) is displayed only.
Moving of the cursor abroad windows are caused with moving a window on a field
Circuits. In the site of a lattice there may be an element of the circuit, an inscription, the beginning
Or the end of a line (trunk). For elements of the circuit in automatically
Created textual windows are entered and displayed them
Characteristics. The cursor is used for the instruction(indication) of the site of a lattice at
Drawing and deleting of elements, lines (trunks), inscriptions, display
Characteristics, and also for management of movings of a window.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The command for the circuit of electric circuits of substation
---------------------------------------------------------------------
To move the cursor (a choice of the site).
CR Characteristics of an element.
Ins To draw. Gets out: an element, a line, the trunk, an inscription.
F1 To draw an element.
F2 To draw a line.
F3 To draw the trunk.
F4 To draw an inscription.
Del To erase. Gets out: an element, a line, the trunk, an inscription.
Alt-F1 To erase an element.
Alt-F2 To erase a line.
Alt-F3 To erase the trunk.
Alt-F4 To erase an inscription.
F9 To establish parameters of the screen: scale, color of drawing,
Display of the menu of elements, display of inscriptions of the circuit.
Esc To return to the list of substations.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

At drawing the element gets out of the graphic menu,
The screen deduced(removed) in the top part. Each element may be
It is represented in four positions received by turn on 90
Degrees clockwise. The menu of elements can be fixed on
The screen, having established the appropriate parameter of the screen.
Drawing of a line (trunk) is followed by the instruction(indication) initial and
Final point.
Deleting of lines (trunks) is followed by the instruction(indication) of two (probably
Conterminous) points. All lines (trunk) which are taking place through are erased
The specified points.
In a window of characteristics of an element the highlighted line is deduced,
Relocatable by keys of management of the cursor. ҅ІЌ lines
Begins and comes to an end pressing of key CR.
At small scales of an inscription on the circuit may harm her(it)
Ɖ; prohibition of a conclusion to the screen of inscriptions is stipulated by
Installations of the appropriate parameter of the screen.

     7. Characteristics
