ELECTRICAL MODEL ROOM

It shows the belt driven generation of electricity both for the lighting of coaches and charging coach batteries. It also consists of various cut models of batteries used on Indian Railways for training lighting. Details of electric wiring technique used while wiring the passenger coaches of different classes are also exhibited.

A separate room shows the models and scheme of general lighting of stations and colonies, development of lamps, dissected parts of various electrical instruments etc. A working model of OHE Isolator Switch is also available to training operating staff.
