THE THEME - GOLDEN JUBILEE LOGO

Golden Jubilee Logo The genesis of railwaymen (without whom the railway operations are impossible) - The Zonal Railway Training Institute, the image of which is embedded like a Nucleus being the breeding ground of railwaymen.
For round the clock, smooth, efficient, safe and customer friendly operations of Railways, the Institute is indispensable. Thus, the image of the Institute is closely encircled by a Railway Track, which symbolizes - the Railway organization, the inseparable relationship between railway operations and the Institute and the contribution this Institute makes for round the clock operations. The closely knit track also denotes strengthening of knowledge, skills and character. Character is to instill commitment, integrity and customer friendly behaviour.
The image of the Institute is further encircled by the Sun, which symbolizes wisdom, energy and vision. It also reflects the 50 glorious years of the Institution in golden colour.
The perspective view of the rays of the sun could also be viewed as the infinite tracks of Indian Railways. The knowledge, skills, energy, vision and character gained by the railwaymen from the Institute are exerted in the entire spectrum of railways.
There are 10 rays/tracks in perspective view depicting 10 Divisions that the Institute mainly serves. One ray/track on top symbolizes the aspiration to achieve greater and greater heights, the sky being the limit.
The prominent colour code is 'golden' to depict the Fifty Years of Glorious Service to the Nation, the background symbolizes the Nation in its' greatness.
