-----Zentil stashes his bow in his backpack and follows Raven’s lead as they retreat.
-----"Interesting enough," Sol manages to choke out, as his blade whips out its scabbard. He harshly whispers a few words to himself as he charges towards the undead warriors.
-----Thalog recoils in fear at the sight of the horrid bone men. He regains control and readies his staff to strike the bone man who has a sword. His face is a mixture of fear and determination.
-----Sarah readies three darts to throw at the monster with the spear. "Um..guys, I don't think I have any spells that will work on the Undead." she alerts her companions.
-----Raven and Zentil start to retreat and, slightly turning, realize their companions are engaged with more of the dead armored beings coming from the two houses at the west end of the square. Raven turns toward the closest monster as it raises its sword for a strike. Its sword swoops down and just misses Raven as he pivots into the dead thing. At the same time, his hand holding his new sword makes a lightning quick thrust toward the thing’s decayed chest. The sword amazingly slices through the worn armor and a few rib bones making a sharp ripping sound. The dead opponent slumps slightly, but still seems animated.
-----Just then, the other dead opponent’s jabs in, but luckily lightly scratches Raven’s left arm. Ignoring the scratch with a curse as he stares into dead eye sockets, Raven brings his left sword arm across at the first horror’s head. His strength decapitates and shattered its skull. The rest of its body collapses with a loud clunking sound as it hits the ground.
-----The other walking dead continues to advance. Raven and Zentil can see two more armored dead crawling out of the window of the house that had the "pounding door." One more climbs out the window of the house with the tree fallen on it.
-----As Sol charges at the three ghastly forms coming from the house on his left, Sarah throws two of her darts. The two small missiles whiz pass Sol’s shoulder straight at one of the forms holding a spear. The first dart thuds as it implants itself into the monster’s armor and appears to have no effect. The second one actually hits the thing in its left shoulder and, with a lucky strike, tears its left arm from its shoulder. The dead eye sockets look down in the direction of its arm bones lying on the ground.
-----Sol meets one of the creatures with a fierce down thrust that rips through the opponent’s shoulder, breaking its collarbone and on down through its ribs. The bones make an unhealthy popping sound at the young man’s assault. The dead thing staggers, but raises its sword in its right hand.
-----Sarah lets go with her final missile and it impales itself in the thing’s armor, hanging there uselessly.
-----Sol recovers quickly and slams the flat of his blade against the monster’s skull shattering it. Its body rattles as it collapses in a heap at Sol’s feet.
-----The one-armed dead warrior holding the spear turns toward Sol and misses him with a sweep of its weapon. The other dead one still standing in the ruined house’s doorway also jabs its weapon at Sol, but fails to strike him.
-----The bone man with the sword approaches Thalog and, with a swoop, its weapon sails over the mage’s head as he ducks. Thalog sees an opening and, with a heave, swings his staff around. The weapon sweeps toward the horror’s legs and connects taking the thing off its feet literally. The impact shatters the dead thing’s legs and it lies on its stomach on the ground. The legless thing at Thalog’s feet remains animated as it continues to raise its sword.
-----Sarah reaches into pouches at her side bringing up three colors of sand, and murmurs "Clatoo Verata Nictum."
-----Had Sol even been in a position to hear Sarah he would not have understood what she was doing. However he was not in a position to hear even that. "Sarah help the others, I'll deal with these." He yells as he brings his sword up in preparation to strike the one armed skeleton.
-----The others suddenly hear Amythiel invoke a prayer to the Sun God. The undead minion that stands to face her, recoils and then turns and moves across toward the east side of the square. She then holds her golden holy symbol in front of the dead thing with no legs at Thalog’s feet. It stops waving its sword and begins to crawl in the same direction as the other one.
-----Before Sarah can cast her spell, the one-armed walking dead steps back and turning, likewise makes for the east side of the square. The one that faces Sol in the doorway fades back into the ruined house.
-----Toward the center of the square, Raven swings at the advancing menace. It moves back avoiding the weapon. A retching odor prevails around the dead thing.
-----Zentil steps quickly up slicing at the monster with his long sword. The bony sword hand shoots up and parries the elf’s sword. In a very quick motion, it swings its sword back across badly scratching Raven’s right arm.
