The Daatz font contains both Hebrew and non-Hebrew characters
Most of the non-Hebrew characters were developed by Mr. Thatcher Ulrich and published as public domain under the name Tuffy(http://www.tulrich.com/fonts/). The version used herein is of 14 Oct 2004.
These characters are embedded in the Daatz Version 1.00 with the explicit permission of Mr. Ulrich, even though such permission was technically not necessary as could be seen from the permission letter that Mr. Ulrich had sent me and is copied herein:

Hi Ze'ev,

Of course you may use Tuffy, any version you prefer. I have donated it to the Public Domain, which means I relinquish copyright altogether, and you are free to use it any way you wish, including relicensing under any license. Let me know if you want a letter formalizing that; I would be happy to give you one.

I'm glad to hear that it will be helpful; this is exactly the kind of thing I hoped for when I started working on Tuffy.
