Ciudad Guzmán, district of Zapotlán el Grande; the term Tzapotl (Zapotlán) means "Place of round fruits and candies", example of the provincial enchantment jaliscience, mixture of traditions and beautiful natures.

Land that frames the union between the urban development and the magic perfection from the nature. Cradle of illustrious men, such as the muralist José Clemente Orozco, you can appreciate his work in the Chapel Clementina of Guadalajara or Juan José Arreola, a famous writer with literature recognitions,and ¿who doesn´t know the song Bésame mucho? The composer, Consuelo Velázquez, saw for the first time the light in this lovely place.

The weather is delicious during all the year, it has an average of 20º C. Speaking of arquitecture, the Catedral deserves the same name as the Temple Sagrado Corazón, the Tercera Orden and the Templo of Saint Antonio, it´s floor of granite of one piece results to be unique in Jalisco.
