The name Malaysia is a combination of the word "Malay" and
the greek sufix "sia". It consists of 13 states and 3 federal
terrietories. Malaysia has achieved its independence on 31st Augusst
1957 and has prospered as a country being one of the leading economic
powerhouse in South East Asia. The capital city of Malaysia being Kuala
Lumpur which is one of its federal terrietories in Malaysia the others
being Putrajaya and Labuan. Malaysia consists of many different
cultures blended together by the mix Malay, Chinese, Indian population.
By visiting Malaysia you can experience a cultural fusion of these 3
different ethnicities.
