Strong Word

This is not an upbeat poem
Where hate masks love in rhyming lines.
Instead, a glimpse into the truths
That till now have been confined.

Day after day,
You say youre right,
Though I always prove you wrong.
And day after day
You prove your might
To be nothing, never strong.

Your voice,
Your touch,
The way you walk and breathe,
Instills a hatred
I thought could never be in me.

I hate the way you stop and stare,
And how you think youre cool.
I hate the pain that you cause
To those you cannot fool.

Everyday I grow much more,
And when Im gone remember this:
You inspired me to soar.
Without my hatred,
Passion cant exist.
