Thunder crashing,
Lightning flashing
Where the sky meets the earth
I used to be afraid of storms,
But there�s something about this one that�s so beautiful.
It�s a strange mix between danger and wonder
The rain just burst from the sky all at one.
Thunder is so loud now,
Booming, piercing.
I hope everybody is alright
The longer I sit out here on the porch,
The more intrigued I am.
My heartbeat begins to race.
My fear does grow,
But it�s an exhilaration very strong
I remember I was told that
Rain drops are tears,
And the thunder is a message from above.
Lightning as dangerous as ever,
A warning
Are we being spoken to again?
Another message in this hour,
From a higher power?
