Almighty God,
Under law.
In peace and despair,

Church and state wrought this case.
An innocent prayer,
Regarded by some
Cannot be fair
To everyone.
Five families together
Make a stand,
Hand in hand,
To change the past,
The law of the land.
Defeated at each level,
But they didn�t surrender
Standing strong together,
They were freedom�s defender.
From peace to despair,
When hope was gone,
A ban of the prayer
By justice was drawn.
In times since passed,
And in times to come,
Freedoms are questioned
Until the mind is numb.
