Punished for being different,
For wanting love
Different than yours,
Never matching up to your standards.
A �freak.�
But why?
To keep everyone the same?
You jealous?
Insecure?
Verbal and physical abuse,
Brought upon those who don�t deserve it,
Who have done nothing but be themselves.
Chained to a fence,
Burned,
Beaten,
Drug across fields.
This seems to be their punishment,
But what about the tormentors?
People should feel free to love,
And live to be free,
But they can�t survive in this world of fear,
Hatred,
And animosity.
