Awake at night as shadows dance,
I lie in bed and have no chance
For life and love in perfect accord,
Heart and mind completely torn.
In this state I was destined to be,
To crawl through life avoiding debris.
Yet now I have a wondrous sight;
In my vision, your wondrous light.
And when it�s cold and dark at night,
I dream of when I can hold you tight.
Life�s not for sure,
And neither is love,
But I�ll take the risk,
So below, as above.
As I walk in circles all about,
From my mind I can�t keep you out.
Looking in the mirror,
I thought it could never be,
But because of you,
I now like what I see.
