Complications
Mixed truths, half lies.
Where do I begin?
I know what I send out shall return to me,
But what did I send?
It seems that history is repeating itself through the family line
I dont care what you may believe
But dont take it out on me.
Ill gladly take my punishment for what I do
But how dare you involve me in things that involve you two!
I dont mean to bring up others besides me
But youve affected others with your petty animosity.
Now lets try to be grown-ups, shall we?
I know how hard it can be, really.
This childish game of sweet revenge is so junior high, and I should know
If youve havent noticed, I have a brain too.
Im so naive though, right?
So how could I possibly understand?
That these are big people problems, right?
But theres no way
No matter how much youd like
For me to still ignore
What I see after walking through that door
I pray that Im better than you
That Im nothing like you
No matter what Ive heard
Shocked?
Well Ill let you in on a little secret:
Sometimes the truth hurts. |
