Beach of Serenity

Walking along the shore,
Feeling the sand beneath my feet,
Supporting my every step.
Water from the ocean splashes up against my legs.
The refreshing temperature is so nice

The smell of salt water fills the air,
As Im moving along the shore line.
I know that there must be other people here,
But as I cross this beach so large,
I feel alone,
But not lonely.
Its so relaxing out here.
Seagulls fly above these waters gracefully

Time passes here so fast,
Yet so slow.
The sky looks beautiful,
Shades of red, orange, and pink.
Day is turning to night

The moon is the only light now,
But its enough.
I still walk along the shore,
Feeling the sand beneath my feet,
Soothing my soul

Water is splashing ever so lightly.
I toss a stone into the ocean.
Theres a rippled reflection of the moon
