A Star
Soon your body will be gone,
As quickly as it was born.
Born of grace,
Lost to space.
A stars radiant essence
Our vision does embrace
You are a faithful being of deceit,
But worry not
For the sight of you remains a treat
You have an immense spectrum of light so bright,
But because of our air we see only white.
We know not the galaxies that you retain,
But we wish to know whats within your domain
As you, the star, grows old,
The luster of your being is no longer bold.
The sky grows dark without your presence,
But well soon feel another stars radiant essence |
