Andrina and Mason's Blog
Some FAQs
photo

We know everyone means well when asking us questions about our engagement.  We've noticed there are a handful of frequently asked questions, so we'd like to post some FAQ answers just for fun.  We really do enjoy talking about the engagement, so feel free to keep asking questions, especially new ones!!

How did Mason propose to Andrina?  Was it a surprise?    Mason's plan was hinged upon making the proposal in private and a surprise.  With busy schedules, this meant keeping the exact location and time flexible.  When Mason realized he could get to Andrina's home at least a half hour before Andrina on a Friday evening, he put the plan into action, set things up in Andrina's living room, and waited for her to get home.  When Andrina arrived home and Mason brought her into the living room, she thought the flowers and candles were simply a solitary romantic gesture, in part as a response to a comment she made a week earlier that Mason had not given her flowers in a while.  It wasn't until Mason got down on one knee did Andrina realize what was happening.  It was totally a surprise!

Did Andrina cry?  Did Mason cry?    No, neither cried.  There was a little bit of giggling involved.

Have you set a date yet?  When will the big day be?    We haven't set a date yet, but we have decided it won't be in 2006 and it won't be more than a year from now.  We're thinking late Spring or early Summer 2007, but we still have to pick a venue and secure a reservation date before announcing when the big day will be.

The photo in this blog entry is from our recent vacation. We were at the East Coast Park of Singapore. You can see the many cargo ships along the horizon.

Love,
