Kai just turned 10 months old and is now exerting his will more than ever.  He learned how to stand up in his crib on the 11th, as well as sit up when he wakes up.  He's started to protest going to sleep by sitting up immediately after we lay him down and trying to keep himself awake.  After a particularly long battle to get him to take a nap today, here is the result: falling asleep while sitting up.
