Kai will have 3 individual swimming lessons this year, preparing him for the big opportunity next year.  He's taking them from Katie, a returned missionary in our church stake.  She's been a swimming instructor for 5 years and is awesome.  I didn't know this previously, but at this age he can learn to kick, splash/paddle with his hands, hold onto the wall, blow bubbles, and comfortably get his face wet/go under the water.  We just want him to know how to be safe around water, especially here in Arizona with all of the swimming pools around.  Next year, Kai should be able to start swimming!
