Tomorrow Kai will be officially 2 months old, but technically on the 13th.  It is hard to believe that we are now in plural months!  He has been such a joy and is growing so fast.  He is now wearing size 2 diapers as of a week ago and is 13 1/2 lbs. as of last week.  His blessing outfit pictured above is size 6-9 months!  It was a joy to have family here with us. (see pictures to follow) 

Dad and I are coming to better understand his needs and he is getting on more of a schedule.  He coo's and giggles, and we're pretty sure he says "Hi!" to us when we say it to him.  I'm practicing a few of the same words with him daily, and have begun showing him baby signs for words like "milk".  Hopefully when he can make the motor connection with his hands to make the signs, he'll remember!
