Personnel Committee

Purpose: To develop and implement personnel policies that are consistent the Association's purpose and goals and which comply with local, state and federal laws.

Composition: The Personnel Committee shall be composed solely of Board members appointed by the Board President in consultation with the Executive Director.

Responsibilities of Committee:

1. ALL MATTERS BROUGHT BEFORE THIS COMMITTEE SHALL REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL.

2. Develops and reviews personnel policies once every three years.

3. Reviews salary ranges and benefits once every three years.

4. Reviews and revises staff and committee job descriptions once every three years.

5. Consults with the Executive Director regarding the Association's affirmative action goals.

6. The Chair shall assist the Executive Director with personnel matters as requested.

Responsibilities of Staff:

The Executive Director serves as staff to the committee.

Frequency of Meetings: Monthly.
