A favorite book that I reading was ‘ Little Woman’by Louisa May Alcott , a
classic book, The book was written and set in Concord, Massachusetts. It was
published in two volumes 1868 and 1869.
This inspiring true story tell experience Louisa with her three sisters. The
life of Elizabeth a fourteen year old girl who always been very closed to
her sister, Jo. She dont happy to go home as her sisters and her parent
always leave the nest. Her family filled with all the things she loves best,
her kittens, piano, father’s books and her beloved dools. But they did’nt
know about the problem with her health. After the family know her healthy is
weakened and never returns to be the rosy plump child she once was. Then she
give her dying attention to her sister, Josephine and claims she was happy
to go home now.
Margaret ”Meg” March Brooke, at sixteen, she is the
oldest sister.
She is considered the beauty of the March household and she
is well-mannered. Meg runs the household when her mother is absent. Meg
also guards Amy from Jo when the two quarrel, just as Jo protects Beth.
She falls in love with Mr. John Brooke, Laurie’s tutor, whom she
marries. Meg bears twin children, Margaret “Daisy” and John Brooke
“Demi” (short for Demi-John), and “Demi” and “Daisy” live a happy life.
Josephine “Jo” March Bhaer, the second-oldest of four sisters, Jo March
is a tomboy, She wanted to fight in the Civil War alongside her father,
who has volunteered as a chaplain, but must reconcile herself to a
nineteenth-century woman’s place in the domestic sphere. She’s clumsy,
blunt, opinionated, and jolly. Her behavior is often unladylike by the
standards of the day. Jo also loves literature, both reading and writing
it. She composes plays for her sisters to perform and writes stories,
and when not doing chores, she’s reading. And
Ami March Laurence, the youngest sisters. Amy is interested in art, she
is described by the author as a’regular snow-maiden’ with curly golden
hair and blue eyes, ‘pale and slender and always carrying herself like
very proper young lady and often “petted” because she is the youngest,
she can behave in a vain and spoiled way , and throws tantrums when she
is unhappy. However, the most appealing character to me was Margaret for
her responsibilities as the oldest sister.
And I think the best part of of the novel was when Elizabeth give her
dying attention to her sister, Josephine and claims she was happy to go
home now. Because Elizabeth very close with her sister even her parent.
I recommended this book ;)
