HERE I AM

Here I am in this new home at the cyber world

Visitors come and go, but I hope someday they will know

That no matter how big is this world

There is always someone who cares for their souls

Someone who looks beyond their faults and love them just like gold

Here I am to jot down my thoughts like a diary

Hopefully they will come in handy

As a journal for my Research Study

And that my faraway friends can also catch a glimpse of me

MEMORIES

Time flies.... but I never really realize
Till I close my eyes in the silence of the night
Recalling things that took place in my childhood days
The happy times and the sad, sad times
Appearing vividly as if I am watching a movie

Didn't think about my childhood days for a long, long time
But when a stranger I met came to me at the net
I saw a mirror of me and all my past history
Becoming alive again with all its true stories
Gone were those days but my memories still stay

I remember the good old days
Where I made toys for myself to play
For I can't buy any since I can't pay
Where I shared my toys with my good, good friend
Hoping that the day would never, never end

I remember the people I met
Those who made me sad and those who made me glad
How should I feel or what shall I say
They have all played a part
In making what I am today

LIFE

Life is like a vapour as it comes and goes,
Sometimes it comes or leaves suddenly that I don't even know.
Life is like the wind that blows passed my face,
Softly blowing without a word or anything to say.
Life is like a circle as it goes back to where it begins,
From dust to dust and back to where it came.

Some people may find no meaning in life,
And they wished they were dead.
Yet the tiniest ant, when its life is in danger,
Will try every way to escape.
So you see, life is so fragile yet so precious,
Hope we can remember this in our head.

LEE KUM YEW

Read the book on the life of Lee Kwan Yew.
It tells of one who helped made old things new.
It tells of one who cared not only for self but also for you.
It tells of one who loved his country and did his fair due.

Read the book on a man of courage who changed history.
I wonder if there'll be another who would love his own country.
I wonder if there'll be another who could create a new story
I wonder if there'll be another who could help Singapore gain more glory.

Read the book entitled,  'Lee Kuan Yew at 80'.
At age 80, Lee says, "Life is an adventure. You begin your journey...
At the end of the day, all I have to cherish are human relationships.
Your worldly wealth you can't take away with you, your life has been lived.

It is the friends you have made, your family ties, which sustain your spirit
With a certain warmth and comfort." Ah, golden words indeed!
Lee concludes with, "So you cannot say that you plan your whole life.
And that's why I feel life is a great adventure: exciting, unpridictable, and at times exhilarating."

(Isaiah 40)....

6..."All men are like grass,
and all their glory is like the flowers of the field.

7 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
because the breath of the LORD blows on them.
Surely the people are grass.
8 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God stands forever.
"

Do Not Worry (Matthew 6)

25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

26
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

27
Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

28
"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.

29
Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

30
If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?

31
So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?'

32
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

34
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
