Amber Trump Deck Logs RL Pictures Main World's End...
Yosannah appears inder the balcony, very near Loki's chair, in fact. Moving forward in a rainbow shimmer.
Loki sniffs and smiles, he then turns to see who is comming. "Why hello there." he motions, "Care to join me?"
Yosannah regards the man with a scrutinous eye, gaze falling over his sketch book. "Seeing as my other options are, apparently, limited tonight, I don't see why not." She slides a chair from the table with her foot and sits, "How are both of you tonight."
Loki smirks, "I am fine, there is only one of me. He then wonders, "You wan't something to drink?"
Yosannah shakes her head to indicate 'no' at his offer, "Only one of you. What happened to your sidekick?" She taps a finger at her own temple to demonstrate what she means."
Loki smiles, "I think your a bit confused. I have always been one person, simply two partitions of the single brain. That problem has been fixed, and I am working on a way to catch up on the time I missed as Brandon."
Yosannah raises a brow, dubious, "Right."
Loki leans back, "You still don't quite belive me do you?"
Yosannah crosses her arms over her chest and leans back as well, mirroring his posture, "Well." She shrugs her shoulders, "Does it really matter what I think one way or the other?"
Loki nods, "For no other reason than I enjoy your company and this is making things mildly awkward."
Yosannah chuckles lightly at this and redirects her attention across the barroom. "Thanks, I suppose."
Loki shrugs, "Hopefully someday our relationship will return to the way I remember it." he sips from his wine, closing his book.
"The way you remember it? What do you mean."
Loki motions with his wine, "This strange fealing of tenseness, this untrusting aura. That is not the way it was when I was split away, one of the last things I remember was the ordeal with the horsemen." he sips his wine, and starts to tie up his book.
"You're confusing me. You realize that, don't you."
Loki shakes his head, "No, and I would be glad to try and explain anything you want."
"Who am I talking to."
Loki simply answers, "My name untill walking the logrus has been Brandon Rathorne, now I have been named Loki it seems; call me what you will, in private."
Yosannah's arms remain firmly crossed over her chest, "Named Loki, hu. By who?"
Loki answers simply, "The Logrus." he sips, "That is confusing, no? Let me explain. When I was seperated, I was put in a body. That body, you see here. His name is Loki, so I guess techically you can say I was named by his mother; however the Logrus chose the body."
Yosannah reaches a hand into her back pocket and withdraws a pack of gum. 'Big Red'. She removes a stick and systematically unwraps the foil, "So, you and Brandon were once one person, then you were two, and now you're one again. Is that it." She slides the stick into her mouth.
Loki shakes his head, "Close, we were one, then we were two and I was locked up and hidden away like the evil step brother. THen he died, and now there is only one again. But we are not one, he is dead."
"Right. Brandon is dead. And you're Loki." She nods, as if the entire thing makes sense now, "So, how is it that you remember the situation with the Horsemen."
Loki nods, "When Brandon walked the Logrus, he was split in half. The half that came out, became the Logrus'ed' Brandon. I was outcast to this body, my mind at the time put in Loki's body and locked up. When I manged to get a few friends to help me out I had all of the memories up to the walk. After that, it is not there.."
Yosannah suggests, "So, I should have noticed a change in Brandon after he walked the Logrus. I mean, if you weren't there anymore, he was, technically, a whole new... er... half new man."
Loki shakes his head, "No he was the same man, he was twice the man and the other one was hidden from you."
Yosannah exhales. She moves her crossed arms to the tabletop. resting them there she leans in. "You're still not Brandon." A crooked, sarcastic smile lingers on her lips, "And for that reason, our... relationship," she makes finger quotes, "will never be what you have imagined in your mind."
Loki smiles, "My loss." he sips his wine, "I am not trying to be Brandon, just simply explaing my situation to someone I feel as a good friend. Perhaps someday, I might be able to gain that respect from you again." he sips again, a soft sigh.
Yosannah stares flatly. Finally, she shakes her head, "In any event." She slides her chair from the table and rises.
Loki simply watches, "Enjoy the rest of your day, or night wherever you may be."
Yosannah gives the man a final, disconcerting look and then turns. There is a moment's pause and then she steps forward into a shimmer..
