Amber Trump Deck Logs RL Pictures Main

A trump call with Lisle...

The image of the picture comes into focus. Rich flaxen blonde hair, awash with pale spring colors of life, falls to the small of her back. In the background: This room is just big enough to be comfortable.

To the image of Lisle, Yosannah says "Lisle?"

The image of Lisle says, "Aye, it is me. Busy?" She seems in a good mood.

To the image of Lisle, Yosannah says "I always have time to talk with you, you know that." She brushes a strand of hair from her eyes and intones without speaking, "What is it."

The image of Lisle says, "Want to come through?" A little gleeful.

To the image of Lisle, Yosannah says "I..." A little reserved, "Okay," she extends her hand, "sure.""

The image of Lisle offers to pull you through.

You grasp Lisle's hand and she pulls you through.

Lisle's Suite - Castle Amber...

This room is just big enough to be comfortable. A four-poster bed of walnut dressed in blue and cream is against one wall. A sitting area, three upholstered chairs and a low walnut table, sit peacefully in front of a marble fireplace. The window has heavy drapes of rich blue velvet to keep out the cold. An armoire and matching desk complete the furnishings. It is the rugs that draw the eye, rich things of indigo, black, and sky blue. A few books are in a bookshelf that is empty, otherwise, and a telescope stands ready near the window.

Yosannah is disoriented. She casts her gaze about the room, "Where are we?"

Lisle says, "It is my room in Amber Castle." Smiling generously. There are dimples in her smile. "Like some tea?"

"Um, yeah, okay." She nods. "What's going on, Lisle?"

Lisle says, "I wanted to ask," she folds her hands before her, "If you'd be my maid of honor at my wedding."

Yosannah's mouth gapes ever so slightly. Her hand lifts and rests flatly at her chest, "Lisle I..." Lost for words? That's a rare thing for this shadow sorceress. Apparently the request needs a moment to mull about in her brain until, finally, a smile, then a grin. Flattered, "I would be so happy." She nods and moves to the Princess, meaning to offer a hug if she will allow.

Lisle looks very happy that Yosannah is willing, and offers her a hug too, laughing so that her voice is very warm, both dimples showing at the corner of her mouth, "Thank you so much. We're only going to have one each. I'm afraid you'll be standing opposite Ben."

Yosannah lets out a soft laugh at that, "I'm sure he'll be so pleased!" And then, "Lisle, it's an honor. Really." More nodding.

Lisle says, "Well," laughing, her eyes sincere, "My Aunt told me to choose someone who meant a lot to me and you certainly do. You cannot create things together like we have and not learn to be friends I think. I'm honored you will. I'll tell my Aunt. I'm afraid you'll have to sit through dress fittings with me," almost apologetic.

Yosannah's amusement softens briefly at the mention of these 'things'. But just as quickly, her smile returns, "Fittings. Yes. Fittings. It'll be fine." Reassuring.

Lisle has to laugh at the way Yosannah's smile changes. She says, sincerely, "Yosannah, I know it will be a trial, but going through that with you will make it all, well, fun. Sometime in early May. I'll send you word on the day."

Yosannah runs her hands through her hair, smoothing, "Okay. And if you need anything in the meant time... I've been keeping to Banished Sun for the most part." She reaches for the Princess's hand, "Do call on me."

Lisle's hand clasps Yosannah's, "I will. And thank you."
