Restaurant - The Eleventh House...

Fauneva enters with Yosannah, pausing to view the seating. "A poor guide I would be if I were to leave you in a strange city by yourself, no? Have you any preferance in seating?"

Flora rises, with a sweep of honeysuckle scent. "I think I will return to the Palace, as well."

Joshua nods, pushing his chair back. "Cool. And remember auntie, you were my first choice for a place." He reaches to help Sarah up, a polite gesture more than anything she needs.

Yosannah looks about the room in an effort to locate a suitable table. Joshua's voice is not lost on her and she notes him with little more then a pursing of her lips and an almost unnoticed smirk.

Flora nods, "I shall." Then, "Goodnight, Sarah, Dear. Goodnight, Joshua Darling."

Joshua says "Night."

Flora inclines her head to Fauneva as she breezes out.

Joshua gathers Sarah into his arm, removing a trump...

Yosannah mutters softly, "...interesting." She makes her way toward the square table.

Fauneva sits down at a perfectly square table tucked away near a fireplace

At your table, Fauneva says "Did you see some more familar faces?"

At your table, Yosannah looks about the room for a waiter or waitress, "You could say that." And then, "How about you?"

A Server promptly pauses by the table and greets you with menus and request for desired drinks.

At your table, Fauneva says "Pardon?" She orders a snifter of strawberry brandy for herself.

Rohan arrives from the lobby.

At your table, Yosannah inclines her chin to the server, "Reisling? Do you have that?" The server nods and quickly vanishes to fill their orders. Yosannah opens a menu as she asks Fauneva, "Are you familiar with any of that group?"

At your table, Fauneva says "Oh, Yes. The first woman to leave was Princess Floramel, Lisle's Aunt. The man was Joshua, her cousin, and Lady Sarah."

Rohan walks in with a lit cigar in his mouth. He looks around.

At your table, Fauneva peers. "Oh, It looks like she left a hat, Do you think I should retrieve it?"

Yosannah nods lightly at Fauneva. She notes Rohan as evidenced by her raised brow. She turns her attention back to Fauneva and shrugs.

At your table, Yosannah says "I'm sure she'll recall where she left it." And then, "Are you eating?"

At your table, Fauneva says "Oh, Yes. I'm partial to the varity of fruits they serve. Have you any idea what you might like? I hear their cornish hen comes highly reccomended."

Yosannah sets her menu aside with a smile.

At your table, Yosannah says "Then that's what I'll try."

Yosannah cups her wine glass in both hands as she chats with Fauneva.

The server returns and takes Yosannah and Fauneva's orders before dissapearing again.

At your table, Yosannah says "So, lady. Tell me. Lisle was chatting with me the other day about her family. Are you familiar with her sister as well?"

At your table, Fauneva says "The Regent? Aye, though I am not as wella aquainted with her as I am Lisle herself. Alix moved back into the townhouse about the time I moved out, so I was not fortunate enough to see that side of her as I had with Lady Lisle. What of yourself? How long do you plan to stay in this fair city?"

At your table, Yosannah lifts the wine to her mouth, glass resting against her lip for a moment, "I'm not sure. I usually don't visit here for that long. Don't expect I will this time either. Lisle has been having some worries over her sister as of late and I think I'm posing as a distraction for her." She smiles at this, tilts her head back and gulps at the wine.

At your table, Fauneva chuckles softly. "It seems everyone fears for our Lady Regent, but I do not." she sips her brandy and observes. "She is a warrior, like myself. In the short timr I have had the pleasure serving her, I have noted she is competant and comfortable in her role. I have no doubt that she is well aware what she is doing, and well equipped to deal with whatever might come her, or Amber's way." she chuckles softly. "I fear Amber somehow fears a woman ruler may be less firm than the office may require.

Yosannah sets the glass on the table, one hand lingers on the stem as she sits back in her chair.

At your table, Yosannah says "I don't think she's worried that her sister isn't up to the task. I think it's other folks that she's worried about."

At your table, Fauneva says "My lord's fears are similar. He asked that I come into the Regent's service so I might be able to better lable threats against her. I am suprised that she hired Calis as Sheriff, and wary of Joshua's presence here."

At your table, Yosannah nods, seemingly in understanding, "I would be wary as well." She pauses as if a myriad of words suddenly get caught at the back of her throat. Instead she wets her lips and raises her glass to them again.

At your table, Fauneva tilts her head curiously, but does not press you.

The server arrives with the ladies' dinners. The plates are set before each of them in turn. He waits for a moment to see if they require anything further before taking his leave of them.

At your table, Yosannah says "This looks wonderful. Thank you for the suggestion." She smiles at Fauneva before continuing, "You're aware of Joshua's somewhat questionable past then, I take it."

your table, Fauneva wrinkles her nose. "I am. The last time I saw him, his brother shot me in the back. Joshua seems disinclined to be as rash or violent as his Brother, and perhaps he only wishes to gain everything which favor of the crown promises."

At your table, Yosannah smiles, almost knowingly, at her words, "Mmm. Yet Alix has let him get close to her and the regency. I can see why Lisle is concerned." She nods and then asks, "What are you and your Lord going to do with regards to Joshua, I wonder."

At your table, Fauneva says "Hopefully, nothing. It is certainly not my place to act without direction from either of those I serve."

Yosannah seems to be finishing up her dinner as she converses with Fauneva.

At your table, Yosannah lifts her fork as she considers the woman's words, "Hopefully?" She smiles at this, "Sounds like you're leaving a very small window in which you might find yourself in a situation you'd rather not be in."

At your table, Fauneva says "I was raised to rule, My lord, as eager, well meaning, and fatally honest, as he is...I fear he might let his concern overshadow better judgement. To openly act on misgivings now would show a lack of faith in both the Regent's ability to make choices and even imply that he knew better than the regent. Anything more than observing, would be premature."

At your table, Fauneva sips and adds. "I am a humble servant, however."

At your table, Yosannah says "Of course. I have no doubt that you will do what is best." She sets her silverware down and removes a napkin from her lap, placing it on the table as well, "In any event," she nods, "dinner was wonderful."

At your table, Fauneva says "Ale danen"

At your table, Yosannah smiles, "Thank you." She holds up her room key, "I suppose I should be heading upstairs now. Perhaps we'll have time to chat again."

At your table, Fauneva says "Perhaps so. Rest well."

"You as well, lady."
