Thelbane ...

Domo knocks and announces, "Lady Yosannah for you."

Yosannah stands behind the man, waiting patiently. She is dressed casually, certainly not in the appropriate attire for one paying a greeting to the King. Obviously, this doesn't concern her though she is more weary then the last time Calder might have seen her. Her smile appears forced as she waits.

Calder looks up from his papers. "Lady Yoshanna. Good turnings. What brings you our way? Please have a seat." he's by the fireplace.

Yosannah crosses her arms over her chest, as she makes her way toward him, studying him as she does. When she arrives at his table she gestures with her hand at a seat, "Is this okay?"

Calder nods and waves his hand to the seat. "Please." He has a servant move to the small bar nearby. "Something to drink?"

Yosannah steps around the chair and then sits softly. She claps her hands together, twining her fingers, gaze pensive, "While I can't imagine how you must be dealing with these first days," She shakes her head at his offer, "I wanted to pay you a visit. Wish you luck, and let you know how sorry I am for my part in what must be a sorce of annoyance for you."

Calder raises a brow. "Annoyance? And thank you for your good wishes."

Yosannah nods, "The situation with the Riders. I have heard that the Minister of Defense is taking affirmative action."

Calder says "Yes. We have some intelligence that the armed forces are working on."

Yosannah inhales deeply and then exhales slowly, biting at her lip as she does, cheeks billowing slightly, "I uh... I wanted to go to the Minister directly, but he is unavailable at the moment. Apparently." She smiles now, a smile much like those she gave when they first met a few weeks back, "Strangely, it was easierto make arrangements to see you. Particularly when you have a letter that states you're a close personal friend of the King."

Calder says "You have information or something to talk to with him?"

Yosannah shrugs her shoulders, noting he doesn't seem entirely amused with her jest, "I have a great deal of information. I know that Despil and Riva have been to see you. Ada-Shazandra as well. Perhaps they have already provided what information I might have anyway." She shakes her head, "I don't know. I thought my perspective, which is a little more personal, might prove useful. To someone insterested in such things. It's the least I could do considering I had an unwilling hand in the entire situation."

Calder nods. "Well, feel free to start with us then with what you know? Since Solomon may in in the field by now, if you can't reach him, a report might be the best way."

Yosannah furrows her brow, "Here? With you. Right now?"

Calder says "Is that a bad idea for some reason? Or do you need um like to have specific questions about modus operandi and such to answer?"

Yosannah shakes her head, "No, I guess... No." She reflects for a moment, "I suppose the easiest way to start would be to ask if you have any questions, yes. Curiosities that may have perplexed you in some way. That might be easiest."

Calder says "Our questions at this time are more about irrelevancies than anything."

Yosannah offers, "You never know."

Calder says "Like how did these things which were supposedly creatures of Dalt's become suddently saints of the Church with an ancient claim ot such that no one has ever heard of? Things like that. And how best to execute the one responsible for this if it was done deliberately."

Yosannah nods with a smile that suggests she is mindful of all these issues, probably having given them each some thought herself, "That's a lot of questions in one fell swoop."

Calder says "Well as we said, these are irrelevancies. What I want to know is how to destroy them."

Yosannah shakes her head, "I don't know of a way to destroy them. I've seen an avatar die. But that just results in these beings moving to another host to form a sort of symbiotic relationship of sorts."

Calder says "We don't believe there is nothing that can't be destroyed."

Yosannah smiles, "Of course that's what you believe. You have to believe it. And I'm not saying that I disagree with you. But what is curious to me is the degree of their strength since united in one host. When I carried one of these creatures, there was no way near the level of power manifested though me that I've seen here."

Calder says "Which of course makes things puzzling but ah well. Life is a puzzle I suppose. So killing the host doesn't kill them. how do they select a host?"

Yosannah shakes her head, "I don't know that." She adds, "I am not even entirely sure of the moment the pestilence creature found me. I have my guesses, but I can't say for certain."

Calder nods. "So the host may or may not know. But in this case if it's all four in one then it nearly has to be deliberate?

Yosannah nods, "Yes, I would imagine so. Carrying one of these things, and I say 'carry' for lack of a better word, was extremely difficult for me at times. How this guy is doing it..." She shakes her head, "But I think he and they were aided by sorcerous means. A stone of some sort."

Calder says "A stone?"

Yosannah nods, "When she was coaxed from me, from what I recall, and I don't recall much, the man had a stone that drew her out. I spoke of this to Despil a few weeks back. Reminded him of it the other day in the event that he hadn't taken it into consideration in whatever plans he's got cooking up in that nog'n of his."

Calder hmms and nods. "We are aware of the need for magical assistance aye, in the attempt to control them. Kolzin who also had one of these parasites I believe, is supposed to have the Psyche Corp out there."

Morgan smiles as she comes in and says, "Good turnings."

Yosannah rests her elbow on the table and her chin in her hand, nodding at Calder. She notes Morgan's entrance and turns to study the new arrival.

Calder turns and smiles. "Hello, love. Up here." He calls from the level where he is talking to Yosannah.

Morgan walks up and asks, "How are things?"

Calder nods. "Well enough." He asks Yosannah, "Do you have any idea of the specific sorts of magic involved? That might help."

Yosannah shakes her head, gaze lingering on Morgan, distracted, "No. I've heardit was done once before. Dara of Sawall and Dalt assisted in coaxing Famine out of a previous host. Though the impression I get is that Famine wanted out and was..." She considers, "stuck?" She nods at Morgan with a smile but adds, for Calder's benefit, "Some sort of stone was used in that instance as well. I'm not a mage of any great talent, I couldn't say."

Calder smiles. "Morgan, do you know Yosannah?"

Morgan says, "I think we met ages ago."

Yosannah nods, smile light, polight, "Yes, I think so. How are you?"

Morgan smiles back and says, "Quite well, and you? How is Banished Sun?"

Yosannah chuckles lightly at that, "Heh." She is obviously amused, "The same. But we tend to like it that way if you take my meaning."

Morgan grins. "Oh, good. I seem to be distracted from the place of late."

Calder says "So is there any more bits of information you need to tell us that you can think of? Perhaps writting down as much as you can and sending it to the Defense Minister and Kolzin as well as myself. This may either stir up questions or give them information they need."

Yosannah nods at Calder as she moves to stand, "Of course. If something strikes me of importance, I'll send word to the Minister." She nods at the woman, "Morgan, good to see you again."

Morgan says "I may be able to lend some aid there as well."

Yosannah raises a brow as she regards the woman quietly.

Morgan says, "I'm not without skills, some of which are rare in the Courts."

Calder nods "And we may need those yet.

Yosannah doesn't pry, rather, she offers a nod in both directions, "I'll take my leave then. Lady. Calder. Good luck again."

Morgan says, "A pleasure to see you."
