Stone sat at the bar of the sitting room, diet coke in hand, when the young man arrived. Casually he looked up, "Yes." The man hurriedly crossed the room to where Stone sat and held out a folder. Stone smirked and, without opening its contents, tossed it atop the bar. "Sir, if you don't mind my asking..." Stone sipped his soda and nodded, "I do. I'll be in touch." The young man nodded and hurried out into the Lobby. Stone ran his hand over the folder as the form of another man materialized behind the him, "She know you did that?" Damen smiled as he moved behind the bar to retrieve a Dr. Pepper. Stone shrugged nonchalantly, "She told me to." Damen cracked open his can and raised an eyebrow. Stone chuckled, "She got offended when I told her that I hadn't checked into her past after all these years." Damen crossed his arms and leaned casually against the bar, "Why doesn't that surprise me?"

In the beginning...

She was thrilled to leave; however, the plane trip across the ocean was trying - stormy and turbulent. It wasn't until she arrived at the airport in England and a cab driver dumped her off unexpectantly in the little village of Elbridge, that she realized something unusual had transpired. Quickly realizing that she wasn't where she was supposed to be she wandered around, looking for a phone, anything. Instead she found an abandoned carnival up the street and a boarded up haunted house. Taking her chances, she went inside...

Stone was her first encounter in Banished Sun, and remains to this day, her closest friend - though he'll never admit it. He introduced her to most of the people she associates with and she now resides down the road from his home in a small refirbished Inn - commonly known to the locals as Webber's Wayside. She is certainly not the first shadow to find her way out of Earth... She has no direct ties with Amber, little aquaintance with Chaos - in fact, conversation regarding these places or the people linked to them is usually of little interst to her.

Her propensity for disrespect towards 'real' people can only be attributed to her ignorance that they, as Damen once noted, could probably end her existance with a thought. Yet her name is almost as synonamous with the Gideon Club as its leader's. And just when you least expect it, she pops up in some random shadow conversing with the likes of Merlin, Lisle or Jurt. Perhaps it is for this reason that her 'mouthing off' hasn't gotten her 'knocked off'. Or perhaps she's no longer the same young woman that arrived at The Sun over ten years ago...
