Yoga Classes for Pregnancy

When a women is pregnant, it is important for her to keep her body supple and strong and in optimum health.  Yoga provides the perfect balance as an exercise program during pregnancy because it gently tones and strengthens the muscles associated with childbirth and labour.  The ante-natal program consists of specific exercises that are gentle and easy to do; breathing exercises that will keep the woman relaxed and calm, improve oxygen utilisation throughout the body and mind for herself and her baby with some excellent techniques that can be used very effectively during labour.

Meditation and deep relaxation are important parts of the ante-natal program where emphasis is placed on total relaxation of the body and mind, with special awareness and bonding with the unborn child.
