RESERVATION CRITERIA - 2003
The following reservation Policy will be applicable to various Government /government Aided /self Financing college located in Haryana as notified by Govt. of Haryana vide letter No. 22/34/98-3GDIII dated 19-03-99 and 07-08-2000

NOTE : If the seat reserved for physically handicapped remain unutilized due to non- availability of suitable category of Handicapped candidates, the seat shall be offered to the Ex- Servicemen ( 1%) Code-9 and their wards and the dependents of Freedom Fighters (1%) Code-8. The reservation policy is subject to revision by the state govt. and the same as applicable on the last date of submission of admission form shall be followed.
DISTRIBUTION OF SEATS - 2003
(A) Govt./ Govt aided colleges:
15% seats of LEET are meant for All India quota (including Haryanvi Candidates) to be filled on merit of LEET - 2003 Test by YMCA Institute of Engineering , Faridabad.
85% seats will be reserved for Haryana residents, out of which 50% i.e. half of these seats will be reserved for various categories as per reservation policy of the State Govt. and remaining 50% will be for open General Category Candidates. These seats will be filled up on the basis of LEET - 2003; counselling will be done by YMCA Institute of Engineering , Faridabad.
(B) SELF FINANCING / UN- AIDED COLLEGES:
(i) In case of Non-Minority Engineering Colleges:
15% seats of LEET are meant for All India quota (including Haryanvi Candidates) to be filled on merit of LEET - 2003 Test by YMCA Institute of Engineering , Faridabad.
15% management seats of self-financing colleges shall be filled as per instruction from the State Govt. in this regard, issued vide letter No. 1474-1547/ Engg. dated 28-5-2003. The candidates to be admitted must fulfill the minimum legibility conditions.
70% seats will be reserved for Haryana residents, out of which 50% i.e. half of these seats will be reserved for various categories as per reservation policy of the State Govt. and remaining 50% will be for open General Category Candidates. These seats will be filled up on the basis of LEET - 2003; counselling will be done by YMCA Institute of Engineering , Faridabad.
(ii) The minority quota / distribution of seats will be notified later on.
(C) OTHER CONDITIONS FOR SELF FINANCING INSTITUTIONS (ALL TYPES)
The YMCA Institute of Engineering , Faridabad would hold two counsellings for self- financing Engg. Colleges for the seats mentioned above. All seats remaining vacant, thereafter, would be filled up by the colleges at their own level on merit provided the candidates fulfill the minimum eligibility conditions as per instructions issued by MDU rohtak / State Govt.
If the reserved categories seats remain vacant after 2nd counselling, the same would be converted into general seats.
