Aim and purpose
The aim of this unit is to enable learners to develop their knowledge, understanding and skills in the
installation of hardware components in a computer system.

In this unit you will learn about different types of hardware

components and how to install them into your machine to improve

the perfoamnce of your computer. You will also learn about the

importance of replacing and upgrading new hardware.
