**Group Rules in Detail**

General Conduct

1. In order to effectively run the group, the Mods and Admin need to know everything that is going on and must take what the players say at face value. We need everyone who wishes to play in the group to be able to honest about whatever situation in game or within group dynamics that crops up. We have great respect for those who tell us the truth and make no attempts to hide anything from Mods or Admin.

It makes it very difficult to properly manage the group, run the games, and approve characters and their equipment is the player in question eliminates information or only tells half truths. This sort of behavior is not acceptable and dishonesty leaves the Mods and Admin with very few lenient options.

Though, if there was an omission of information through accidental oversight, it is best for the player to contact the Mods or Admin before an issue arises to have the situation resolved. This is the kind of player that we praise.

2. Not only is using the YS Forum to attack, flame, bitch, and moan a waste of our server space, it�s a waste of time. It demonstrates a lack of maturity and reason. Such messages will be removed and administrative action will take place, and most likely will not be kind.

3. We expect everyone to act in a proper and mature matter. Everyone is responsible for their own actions. If those actions are those of not honorable, then we expect that individual to be able to at least receive any punishments without complaint. Do not expect preferential treatment due to any status, position, age, sex, race, or creed. The Admin and Mods to not respond favorably to those who harass, bully, and badger Admin, Mods, and players.

We also expect players to be able to settle arguments between themselves and only return the Mods as a last resort or when a mediator is required.

Game Rules

1. Mods act for the Admin and their word carries the same weight as the Admin. If a player wishes to contest a ruling by a Mod, they may email the Admin. But once the Admin renders their word, it is final. Admin has the final say, period.

2. This is a Fighter Squadron and characters that won�t be able to find a place to function within the squad or around the existing characters will more than likely will not be let in due to conflicting agendas. If a character is introduced into play that has not been approved, the posts and the character will be removed from the board and Admin action will be taken.

We only permit each player to have 3 (three) characters in play that are approved by the Mods and Admin. It is possible to have more than 3 characters, but only with permission from the Admin.

Once a character is dead, it is dead. There is no bringing the character back, even if the name is changed. The Mods and the Admin expect that most players will cause their own character�s demise. However, in the event it is another player, if it hasn�t been worked out before hand, and it is of malicious intent the Admin and mods will determine if the kill was acceptable or not. If it is, the dead character shall be removed. If not, Administrative action will take place.

All characters must be original works belonging to the player. Unless a player can provide sufficient proof that permission has been granted to play such a character, the Admin will not allow that character to be played. We won�t be sued because a player fails to obtain proper permission.

3. Most everyone knows what power gaming is and will not be tolerated in any form.

The only time autoing is permitted is when the one player gives another player permission to act on their behalf for a short period of time or for a specific purpose.

4. Storylines are created by the Admin with assistance from the mods, usually laid out far in advance and players are expected to be able to follow along and play out in the storylines. Be as creative as possible to get the job done. Suggestions are welcome, but not all suggestions can be used.

Side stories to develop characters or for interactions between characters are wholly permitted and even encouraged just so long as they do not have an impact on the major storyline. If this happens, the side story will be altered or terminated.
