I have created a Group Policy to force IE settings to use autodetect
everything works fine if the GPO do not containt any folder redirection.
I noticed that when I add Start Menu folder redirection to a network path.
the redirection works, autodetect proxy, in IE is set; but Internet Explorer
seems to don't get any information about the wpad record.
Is there any known issue about autodetect and folder redirection?? Do
Autodetect need to save wpad data to somewhere???
could someone help please.

Subject: Re: How long for the 70-290 Exam?
Hi,
I've nearly finnished the 1st book and am just revising really.  There is
alot of information to take in though.  I've been working in a network
environment for 3 years so alot of it makes sense, where as some takes more
time.
I suppose it does depend on the individual, i try todo about 12 hours per
week study, and am hoping to get my mcse in a year and a half if possible.

I've only taken Thomson Prometric tests to get my certs, and was
considering trying out the Pearson Vue tests.  Has anyone tried both?
If so, what are the differences in the two?  or are they basically the
same questions and format, etc.?  Thanks in advance,
 Jonathan
There is no difference.  It's just different providers of the same test.

Subject: Re: mcse study material
dont u think that all the information that is given in mspress books is
already on the product documentation and tech ref section in technet ? and
considering this fact , do u people still recomend to buy mspress books for
mcse ?
For the very reason you have stated, I personally would not recommend
buying any books with MCSE, MCSD, etc in the title. Having said that,
everyone to their own.
microsoft provide excellent (often free) resources which cover
everything you need to pass these exams, [unfortunately?] even if you
have no real world experience of using the product.
btw, I find the non certification mspress books by and large to be very good.
