Practically nothing. In all honesty there is little they can do
(although they could do more) as many of these
groups/companies/websites etc which have corrupted ms certs operate
outside of the US (and most other civilized countries too). So without
sending a couple of dozen B52's other there, not much seems to happen.
One thing ms have done is formulate the changes to the certification
process. This will have an effect on being able to cheat, although
I
personally feel it will take a lot to increase the preserved value
of ms certs.

?
You can use Security+ as an elective for the MCSA and the MCSE which
also
applies for your Security Elective.
You still need to take 70-298 (Designing Security in a Windows 2003
Network)
even if you took the 200 equivalent (70-220) as well as Exam 70- 299
that's
why the upgrade path isn't really there. So your looking at taking 5
exams
for the upgrade.

Hello!
I posted this question before, in August and someone even answered
it.
However I cannot find it now, even in my own 'recent postings'.
I'm getting a bit confused about upgrading options.
Say, I have MCSA2000:Security (210-215-218-214-Security+)
Ultimate goal is to get MCSE2003:Security
Now, from what I understood, I cannot get MCSE2000:Security upgraded
to
MCSE2003:Secuirty.
So the path of MCSA2000:Sec -> MCSE2000:Sec -> MCSE2003:Sec
doesn't work, right?
But then I can upgrade MCSA2000:Security to MCSA2003:plain (btw, there
is no
MCSA2003:Security, is there?)
Can I then go for MCSE2003:Security with my _upgraded_ MCSA2003? Plus
use
Security+ at the very end to get :Security spec?
If anyone could clarify that, it would be greatly appreciated

You are the network administrator for northwind.com.
On a windows Server 2003 computer named serverA, you use the backup
program
to automatically back up eight servers. You use a schedule task named
AutoBack.
The task runs in the security context of a domain account named NightBackup.
The Default Domain Policy Group Policy object (GPO) is configured with
the following
account policies settings:
1. Minimum password length: 8 characters
2. Password expiration: 30 days
3. Enforce password history: 12 passwords remembered
4. Account lockout threshold: 3 invalid logon attempts
5. Account lockout duration: 30 minutes
The backup program runs successfully for four weeks. After four weeks,
you notice
that nightly backups no longer occur. A successful backup occurs when
you log on
the serverA with your own user account and perform a local backup.
Your user
account is member of the Domain Admins group.
You want the AutoBack scheduled task to perform unattended backups
every
night at 11:00 P.M.
Which two actions should you perform in orderto resume the nightly
backups by using the
AutoBack scheduled task? (Each correct answer presents part of the
solution.
Choose two.)
A. Unlock the NightBackup user account.
B. Enable the NightBackup user account.
C. One the properties sheet for the AutoBack. Job scheduled task, reset
the password.
D. Reset the password for the NightBackup user account.
E. Configure the local security policy on serverA to grant the service
account the Logon
locally right.
F. Configure the local security policy on serverA to grant the service
account the Logon
as a service right.
Answer: C, D
Explanation: The question states that the backup program ran successfully
for four weeks,
which is more or less 30 days. Because of the password expiration being
30 days, the
passwords listed in C and D has to be reset.

Subject: passed the 70-290
After many years of Windows NT experience I studied the Microsoft Self-Paced
Training Kit and barely passed the test, but did pass it on the first
attempt.
There were a few questions that I was unprepared for:
Terminal server licensing: turns out there is an Appendix A at the
back of the
book that I didn't notice that covers terminal server. There
was one question
on licensing and another on restricting connections or not allowing
disconnects
and I had to guess on both of them.
VBS: I am an experienced programmer and I had to read that VB script
very
carefully to find what I thought was the correct answer. I don't
think I would
suggest that someone study just for that question, make a guess and
hope you get
enough of the other questions right. :)
IIS: Know how to backup and restore the settings.
I guess I'll stop there to make sure I don't overstep the non-disclosure.
Anyway, I'm glad to have it behind me.
