I know this question has probably been asked a 1000 times
before but I'm going to have to ask it again.  Which are
the best study guide(s) for the Windows XP Pro exam?
I know a huge chunk of the learning experience is to play
around with it on a network which is what I'm doing but a
study guide would help.
Thanks

Subject: only for future MCSE: age under 20
hi, everyone.
this is Mino from NYC.
I am currently preparing for MCSE, and going to 4yr
college, majoring computer engineering. I know many of
recent H.S. graduates wanna become MCSE and looking for a
way to get the certificate. Even though I am not yet
certified, the courses that i am taking in college really
helps me to understand the things i need to know for
MCSE. All of the MCSE prep. books just talk about how to
operate such things, but it doesn't really talk about the
mechanisms beyond technical stuff. So my advise to you is
that get college education while you are pursuing
yourself to become a MCSE.
Another thing you may concerned, the salary~~!!
i dont know about other locations, but i know little bit
about pay rate for MCSE with college degree in NYC. I
know... itz really hard to get a job these days
especially in IT field cuz the market is almost
saturated. But what i found out is that there are still
few jobs for newbies. and of course people with more
experiences earns more.... herez some info you may
interested(this only applies to MCSE w/ college degree in  NYC).
0 - 2 yrs experience:  40,000-50,000
2 - 5 yrs experience:  50,000-70,000
5 - 10 yrs experience: 70,000-90,000
if you go beyond to management level with advanced degree
with MBA, MS, or PhD your salary will go beyond 100K/yr.
some of those info i provided may not be accurate;
however, i've got this from people around me. so it
should be accurate unless they lied to me.
good luck all of youngsters like me. 1
