Subject: Detail of MCSE
Hello,
The details of MCSE courses are going to be different
depending on what class you take. There are also other
study options such as books, online training, etc. if you
do not like classroom style.
In regards to the benefits of being an MCSE, please see:
http://www.microsoft.com/traincert/mcp/mcse/benefits.asp.
I hope this helps.

I heard a lot of noise about a new format wich is used at the
Prometric-Microsoft Testscenters.
Does this mean that the complete exames has been changed?

Subject: Re: I am wondering if i can learn MCSE certified by self study
I got my MCSE through self study - and a few machines in lab.
Additionally i was working with the products day in day out.
you need discipline, dedication and desire to get it!

I am wanting to think about my future and prepare for a career.
I am
wondering if it is possible to achieve the MCSE through self study.
I
would definitely need books and I'm not sure which are the best ones
for me
to buy considering there are so many. I dont want to invest unnessary
money into this considering i'm on disability and dont get much money
per
month anyway, along with bills, debts, etc. I would need to know
what
books would set me right to start off with and also what book i'd need
for
subsequent exam. I'm hoping not to buy more than 1 book per exam.
also,
what does it cost to take an exam ? another question i have is
what kind
of a home network/lab would i need to really learn my material?
what
software base would i need as well ? If this will get me
a job in the
future than i think its worth pursuring i just have to make sure i
can
handle it in little pieces my main concern is whether its a doable
thing,
also can it be done with little money (to the person who posted about
FNI
training please do not respond i called their headquarters in houston
and
they didn't even know what MCSE was.) anyway -- can someone lead
me in
the right direction ? I need a future and i've always seen myself
working
with computers. I've tried linux and i've given up on it its
a little more
than i can handle.
thank you !!! please help.. desperate soul.
