And would you care to back up the statement that "XP is junk" with
any
reasons?

There quit a few differences from my opinion. But I think
you will find as I have that more companies are using 2000
Pro as their workstation OS. As far as I am concerned XP
is junk.

-----Original Message-----
While practicing for MCSE 2k, I started to install 2k pro on my
laptop. Not suprisingly, I got a message saying that the OS I
was about
to install was older than the existing software (XP Home). Should
I
bother to "downgrade", which would mean wiping my HD, or does XP have
the
functions I need to practice for MCSE? So far, I havent' seen
differences, but I'm just getting into the practice excersizes.
TIA
Chris

IF you gave the testing center a valid e-mail addy... if you didnt,
you wont
get an email. However, if you DID get the welcome package from
M$, then
send a request to [email protected] for assistance.

To access the MCP website for the first time you need the email from
Microsoft, this gives you your password. On the bad side, it could
take
anything up to six weeks to receive this. P.S. I'm still waiting too;-)
