Mike,
I concur with your assessment.  Moreover, I suspect Consultant is a low
level employee with limited knowledge.  He tends to eschew answering
difficult technical questions and is not in the same league as Laura or
Microsoft MVP's.   In addition, his grammar and sentence structure is not
indicitive of a college graduate or manageerial material.  Most successful
individuals in IT do not need to bolster their ego by taunting newcomers to
the field.  Consultant has a bit too much time on his hands.  If he had real
responsibility, he would not be in this group throughout the workday.  He is
simply a pathetic wannabe troll.  I seriously doubt that he is A) MCSE, b) a
college graduate, c) anything more than a help desk phone answerer.  I know
for sure he is this: A LOSER

It depends on whether the testing center has received the updated versions of
the exam.  I've taken 5 exams in the past 6 weeks (well, 6 weeks and 1 day)
and all except today's 218 gave numeric scores.

Am i right to be scared?
Yes - I took the exam during the beta period and talked to a few other
people that did as well.  We all generally felt that the exam was very
well written.  I think that people with BizTalk experience will find the
exam challenging, but not that difficult.  I think that people who have
not worked with BizTalk will find the exam difficult.
If you are working with BizTalk, you might want to check out the book
"BizTalk Server" The Complete Reference" by David Lowe.  (I am also a
co-author and technical reviewer.)   The book is very well writen and
very practical.

Should be able to create network boot disks from a 2000

Hope this helps.

Hello, Just wanted to post this quick note letting anyone who is interested
in some excellent study materials created by LEARNKEY for the MCSE 2000
certification course, and want to get a great deal on this set that is going
for over 2K  retail,
to drop me a quick e-mail so we can work out the details
I am offering a set I bought and  used to get my MCSE certification for
350.00.  This is an incredibly compressive set of study CD's There are a
total of 31 disks that cover all 7 exams. Four Core and Three Electives.
Feel free to ask any questions about the certification process, and I will
give the details and hints to get yours in the least amount of time.
P.S. I also have some extra study CD's that I will throw in. Combined with
these, all the above materials are ALL I used to get certified in a 7-month
period..One exam a month.
It is a great feeling after the passing of that last testJ

Mike,
Congratulations in passing all your exams, and YES I can relate to the being
out of work situation, BUT I do have a real problem with the
http://www.mcsebraindumps.com issue, I don't really care how anyone passes
the exams but if you are thinking that you are better prepared because of it
think again.
These sites are one of the reasons why the IT Certifications have lost their
value, companies and everyone else in the IT food chain knows that the brain
dumps are out there and even a monkey can pass the exams.
Do yourself a favor have some pride and STUDY YOU ASS OFF so you can pass
70-218
My two cents while I study to pass 70-216 soon.

i did this last week.  it won't let you run setup from dos.
using a win98 startup disk, run fdisk.  it will allow you to delete the ntfs
partition.  i think it's option 4 under delete, "delete non-dos partition"
or something like that.  exit out of fdisk.
i used the 4 boot disks to load the program because i never did it that way.
you may be able to go to the i386 directory on the cd and run winnt.exe.
i'm not sure though.  try it that way, it might be faster.  if it doesn't
work, use the boot disks.

Also, can you create a stripped volume where the partitions that make up the

| Hi,
|     What is the passing score for the Exam 70-219 ?  The exam is hard ?
Passed here in Germany the NEW english 70-219 at January 17.
Time: 280minutes (4:40 h) and  5 scenarios, particually brandnew.
For every scenario I got separate time between 62 and 42 minutes,
amount of questions for each were between 9 up to 14. This works
like 5 separate exams, but if you end one of the sessions (scenarios) and
have a break, the time counts further and your pausing time will be sub-
tracted from the standard time at the LAST scenario! So you cannot
override the maximum given time of 280 minutes!
One of the scenarios I'd with a remaining time of 10 minutes
(let the time inside the scenario count...and... uoogh...happy about the
time to go to toilet...)
At one of the scenarios I answered the last question in the last 10 seconds
of this part...(phuuu). After the exam I thought, not to made one exam this
day - just to made 5 exams this one day.
I passed 70-240 (4:00 h) last year. In compare to this I've to say that the
70-219 was double difficult, double hard than this. Never done an exam
like this before in my life.
I think up from now no one can tell that MCSE is nothing worth and easy
to get if you got it with exams like this!
Think so, that other elective exams for the MCSE-Track from now on
may be work the same. So, lucky that my old TCP/IP exam 70-059
counts towards for MCSE2000...
Was disappointed about the also NEW result-sheet without any information
of the score in this hard 70-219 - only: "Result: Pass".

Thanks for the insight.  I had been debating which exam,
200 Prefessional or 2000 Server, would be best to start a

There was a GREAT article in certmag, www.certmag.com, by

"the Content Snowball
Approach to Windows 2000"
It was a great outline of the MCSE test path one may take.

Hello all:
I have a few questions I'd like some assistance on.  My
dilemna concerns whether it's best to prepare for the
Win2000 Professional exam vs. the Win2000 Server exam.
1-Does one need to pass the 2000 Professional exam
before tackling 2000 Server?
2-Is 2000 Professional a prerequisite for 2000 Server?
3-Is one extremely more difficult than the other? 1
