Bogdan...
Try using the command line editor (of course, while logged in as
Administrator - which you already know). You should not have
to change any
attributes for reading this file or for editing it.
If it still gives you problems, confirm the attributes are as follows:
C:\>attrib boot.ini
A C:\boot.ini
And, finally, you can have your security settings on this file set
to
"Everyone", which is the default setting after server is installed.
Hope this helps...and let me know how it goes...

I try editing boot.ini but it won't allow me. It says access is denied.
The security button shows full access for administrator, and system.
I am the
administrator. I am running a windows 2000 Server. I tried removing
system
from the list but still nothing works out. I also checked if it's in
read

The MCSE and MCSA tracks share some common exams, but the MCSE does
not
require 70-218. That exam is required for MCSA but optional in
MCSE.
Therefore, if your MCSE track is not mapped accordingly, you can still
become
MCSE without meeting all the requirements of MCSA.

Anyone with half a brain can work out that I failed one on the 4th.
Hmmm. Better study a bit more for XP (might read a book and play with

Microsoft made such a big deal about the Win2000 MCSE track being more
difficult than for NT4, to weed out so many paper certs that dilute
the
certification's value.
The three exams I've taken so far in the 2K track did not seem that
difficult,
so I wonder if this was all hype from Microsoft trying to convince
people that
the Win2000 track is "better".
For those who previously earned the MCSE in NT4, and then have gone
on to the
Win2000 track, is Microsoft's claim valid? Is the newer path
really more
difficult, or will we probably have just as many paper-2Ks as paper-NT4s?
Also, does anyone know if the boot camps are pumping out just as many
clueless
folks or have their pass/success rates gone down?

When it comes time to answer the questions, you should have taken quick

Do you read all the information first then answer the questions or

Also do you review all marked questions at the end of the exam

Laura
Thanks for your help I went to the microsoft site and foung this
A relay agent that conforms to RFC 1542 relays DHCP packets to the
remote side even though they are broadcast packets. Before relaying
a
DHCP message from a DHCP client, the agent examines the GIADDR
(gateway IP address) field. If the field has an IP address of 0.0.0.0,
the agent fills it with the router's IP address. When the DHCP server
receives the message, it examines the Relay IP Address field to see
if
it has a DHCP scope (a pool of IP addresses) that can be used to
supply an IP address lease. If the DHCP server has multiple DHCP
scopes, the address in the Relay IP Address field identifies the DHCP
scope from which to offer an IP address lease. This process allows
one
DHCP server to manage different scopes for subnets.
