Subject: Re: Exam 70-240 Experiences
Hi,
my 240 was definitely 'broken in four' -clearly stated when starting
each
1/4- each making up 60 minutes. It was nothing like the 'design-exams'
i.e.
just following multiple choice, 'choose all applicable' or 'choose
best'
stuff, so no cases.
The only thing to get a break in the exam is to use the time left for
the
1/4 for which you finished answering the exam for toilet/coffee/sigaret.
After you select 'next' and start a new 1/4 the official time rolls
away and
there is nothing to stop it. There is no official 'break' in the exam!
One positive thing....if you know your stuff you will not need the
four
hours offered. Just try to make up time with the things you know well
(Pro...server....AD...) and use your 'time-left' (for that part) to
take a
break and prepare for the next.

am sitting this exam in a couple of weeks and would like some insight
into
how the exam is structured i.e. number of sections / questions and
what is
the story with breaks.
Is each exam 240 test on broken into section like some of
the test exams
or is it serverly case scenarios with multiply questions to answer.
Also what is the story with having toilet breaks and bit to eat due
to the
length of the exam
Thanks

I have been trying to shake off a bad funk for a week now
over this new and improved Windows 2000 certification
that MS has brought to the table.
Every way I look at it however I see nothing but dirty dishes.
Since mid-1999 I have been in and out of this newgroup,
thinking to maybe be able to help out someone trying to
help themselves along to something better. I have watched
the NT 4 MCSE loose respect, and so value. I have seen
very little effort spent on enforcing exam rigor or security,
which could have reduced this loss of MCSE value even in
the face of the relatively lightweight NT 4 era exams. I have
seen much spin placed on rectifying this situation, and the
Windows 2000 exam introduction touted as the vehicle for
renewing the value of the MCSE.
And now I see all that tossed out, just in order to keep the
numbers of MCSEs within a target range. Could there be
any other reason? This is not just a death-knoll for the value
of the MCSE itself, but an affronting slap to all that have
shown their place as a Windows 2000 MCSE. Anyone with
that early achiever card is justified in feeling that a thief has
just left their house, for indeed the potential value of their
certification status has been zeroed.
Perhaps the only recent event (nearly a year old now) that
comes at all close to this foolishness is the dropping of the
qualification bar for MCTs. Allow just anyone to teach the
classes if some less than quality oriented training center only
pushes them along and through the paperwork, seems very
similar to letting just anyone get their Windows 2000 MCSE
as quickly as possible.
So, so long all. While there was a glimmer of chance that
this MCSE would hold renewed value I was willing to try.
Now however, I can only see a waste of time.

A. The last date to take Exam 70-240: Microsoft Windows 2000 Accelerated

Hi.
I recently received this card and I think that this card is not well

-> One char is not well written, another has not be written (the final
R
of September)!
-> This card has no magnetic information, no holographic logo
-> This card don't replace the old card (no informations on others
certifications like MCDBA,+I)
So, we still need to have and show the 2 MsCards.

Subject: MSCE 4.0 will not be Decertified
The following information is a preview of public announcements that
Microsoft will make on October 11, 2001. This information is confidential
and should not be released to customers prior to October 11, 2001.
Please
note that specific details are subject to change prior to the public
announcement. We expect that additional questions and answers to the
enclosed FAQ sections will be included over time. Please visit the
Microsoft
public Web site at www.microsoft.com/trainingandservices on or after
October
11, 2001, for additional information.
The key announcements include:
1. Microsoft is replacing its current decertification policy with a
plan to
define and concurrently maintain multiple versions of it credentials.
This
approach will allow the ongoing recognition of credentials for as long
as
they are relevant in the market, while still providing a means to
differentiate individuals who have updated their skills to the latest
Microsoft technologies.
2. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers in Windows NT 4.0 will remain
certified after December 31, 2001, contrary to previous announcements.
MCSEs
on Windows2000, Windows XP Professional, and Windows .NET Server will
be
identified as "MCSEs on Microsoft Windows 2000." MCSEs on Windows NT
4.0
will be identified as "MCSEs on Windows NT 4.0." These identifying
titles
will appear on certificates, transcripts, and other tools so that candidates
will be able to indicate the specific area of expertise represented
by their
certification.

pass the exam...
Dont criticate the people that study with braindumps because they have

Enterprices can put anyone in the street when they want, and they do
