Maybe you don't deserve to be a mcse if you one for saying that.  Windows

that Windows 2000 is rubish burt it my own prefernce.  I feel really
annoyed because I have studied for the nt exam.  What does really else think.
Personally, I think anyone who has been studying for the NT exam and
is now surprised it is retiring, a year and a half after MS announced
such retirement, really ought not to be allowed to be a MCSE anyway.

I used Examprep and New Riders books for the Win2k track, I found both of
them pretty thorough, but like most study materials they also contain
errors, which isn't a problem if you can spot the errors.
It is always best to use multiple sources and if you don't work with Win2k
you better have a lab setup at home.
Both these books contain enough labs to get you some good hands on.
The only MS material I found of much use was the Migration Cookbook for
70-222.
I've never used Sybex.

other people agree that the MS Press materials are a little tough

Hmmm.. anyone else have any opinions on the training materials

Where do you get the fact that he is a closet braindumper, he only asked
about some books and said that he used Microsoft Books.  If that is a closet
braindumper, then just about every MCSE is.  You seem to be all over the
news group letting people have it for braindumps, and I agree people
shouldn't use them, but man, this is not a braindumper from what he wrote,
its getting a little old reading you constant braindump posts and how much
you make and how everyone who doesn't have experience is a loser and how
everyone flips burgers.  I bet you are about to write that I flip burgers,
or that I braindump, or that I don't have any experience, or call me a

not reading any more of your posts, you never have anything useful to say.

Dionicio, in your case, I would do one of three things.
1.  Pick a different test to study for
2.  Use Transcender to find my weak points, and study those chapters of the
books again.  Transcenders & the like can be good for spotting those weak
areas -- not for just memorizing questions & answers.  I would also try
getting another book from a different publishing company.  Sometimes, one
company's book covers things from a different perspective than another.
3.  Try a radically different form of study -- maybe take a class if you
haven't done so yet.  I know they're expensive ... but it's an idea.

Free MCSE
The training videos offered by Free MCSE all appear to be segments taken
from classes offered by iNTense School. In these videos, students ask
questions that are answered by the instructor (who reminds me of Bill Nye
the Science Guy for some reason). The videos are accompanied by synchronized
slides.
These videos are short, but to the point. Free MCSE is the first place to go
whenever you have a specific question because of their Q & A format. I
tested their videos with my 56 Kbps dial-up and they played back without
issue.
You will need to register with Free MCSE to access this material.
I signed
up for an account over a month ago and have yet to receive any promotional
e-mail from them, so getting spammed to death isn't a worry.

Microsoft Multimedia Central
This part of Microsoft's site used to be called "Seminar Online", but they
recently changed the name. The average presentation consists of a PowerPoint
slide presentation that has been converted to HTML, accompanied by a
synchronized audio presentation.
These presentations are more marketing-oriented than anything else, but the
majority of them go into a decent level of technical detail and are useful
when preparing for Microsoft exams. There are nearly 300 streaming
presentations available for viewing, but only about 40 or so of them pertain
directly to the Windows 2000 MCSE track. If you are planning to take
Exchange Server as an elective, you'll be grateful for the 80 videos
available here.
You can view most of these presentations from a 56 Kbps dial-up connection,
but some do require 100 Kbps or faster.

Microsoft Support Webcasts
These training presentations are tailored to the support professional
working on the front lines with Microsoft products. Like the seminars
mentioned above, these presentations more often than not consist of
PowerPoint-to- HTML conversions with synchronized streaming audio.
Occasionally, you will get lucky and find video of a talking head or a live
desktop capture.
When it comes to technical content, the Support Webcasts are extremely
valuable for exam preparation. My big complaint is that a lot of the people
MS has hosting these webcasts have no business doing a presentation. I have
sat through some of these webcasts with gritted teeth while the presenter
stammered away or lectured in broken English. There is a treasure trove of
training material here, but Microsoft should do a better job of making sure
their presenters are up to snuff.
Most of these Webcasts are accessible using dial-up, but you may run into
a few that require a high-speed connection.

Summary
One of the advantages of taking a class from a live instructor is that you
can pepper him or her with questions. The disadvantage of this is that you
pay for the privilege. Given that a one week class can cost around $1,500.00
U.S., the free training presentations we've discussed here would easily cost
you upwards of $4,000.00 U.S. if you were to spend an equivalent amount of
time in the classroom. For myself, I'm quite content to post my questions
into a newsgroup or Web forum and pocket the difference.
Give this free online training a try when you're studying for your next
Microsoft exam - you have absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain.
