| Iguions: Location: Deling Presidential Palace Scan Info: A mutation of a gateway decoration. Uses Petrify attacks. Someone has given it the Reflect power. HP: 127-1747 Very weak against: None Weak against: Earth/Holy Strong against: None Very strong against: None Has no effect: Fire/Poison Absorbs: None Draw Possibilities: Cure, Esuna, Break, Carbuncle (GF) AP Gained: 10 Items Gained: G-Returner (8) My tips: Very easy, despite it being very far in the disc and the fact that you have to face two at once. One thing to know straight away: Draw the GF! Whenever there is a GF to obtain, get it right away! If you miss any, you can get them in Disc 4. But the downside is they won't learn as many abilities and will be a lower level than your other GFs. Onto the bosses: As I said, they're very easy. They use a skill called Magma Breath which will start a Petrify countdown on one of your characters. Once the counter reaches 0, he will turn to stone and will be considered KO'd, so use Esuna to stop the countdown. If both Squall and Irvine (the only characters you can use here) get Petrified, then it's game over. Since they are immune to Poison and Fire, don't use them and don't summon Ifrit. You probably haven't got Holy yet (if you can get Holy on Disc 1, e-mail me to let me know where to find it so I can add it here). If you've got the Brothers (Earth GFs), use them to cause significant damage. Quezacotl works pretty well, too. About Break (Petrify magic) - don't bother drawing it. Many creatures are immune to it, especially later in the game and hardly any items, Draw Points or monsters have it. In addition, if you Petrify your opponents, you don't receive EXP for it. So if you're going to use Break in a battle, make sure there's more than one creature and kill the Petrified monster first to get the EXP. One last thing. Make sure Irvine has Ammo for his Limit Break, Shot. Use Shotgun Ammo to attack both of them at once. If you're using Shot and the attacks start causing 0 damage, stop firing, this means they're dead. |
