Twenty years ago, five young musicians went to Japan with a vision. The band known as Fozzy was set to bring their new, hard-rocking music to the Land of the Rising Sun, but little did they know that Japan would like them a little too much. Signed to an unprecedented exclusive 20-year contract with a local label, they were trapped in the Orient for two decades. The band members took menial jobs, but never lost sight of their dream to return to America and rock the country like a tornado. They wrote songs nonstop, and other musicians who saw them perform in their Japanese days came back to America with a little something special.
On December 31st, 1999, Prince got his real name back and Fozzy came home, only to discover that a terrible wrong had been done them. The songs that they had labored so hard on had been stolen by other, lesser bands, and a genre of music that Fozzy created had forgotten them completely. They found bands like Krokus with "Eat The Rich," Motley Crue with "Live Wire" and the Scorpions with "Blackout," all Fozzy compositions, all hits for the above bands. An act of heinous plagiarism had been committed against the boys, and they wanted nothing more than to reclaim their songs from the world that had stolen them.
Some idiots on the net..claim that Chris Jericho and Fozzy's lead singer...Moongoose McQueen are the same person..their looks are the same but Moongoose claims that Jericho was a 'fat kid' that had plastic surgery and liposuction to look like him.
