Chapter 9

Chris and Stephanie left the Club and went back to the hotel were both were staying. Before getting into the elevator Chris had decided that if this was going to be the one night he can have alone with Stephanie he was going to make it memorable.

Stephanie, I have a few erruns to make can we get together in an hour or so. Chris asked trying not to be too secretive.

Sure, that will give me time to freshen up a bit. Stephanie replied a little suspicious of what he was up to. She really had no idea why she was feeling such desire for him; she certainly had no idea why she liked it.

Before departing Chris pulled Stephanie back he placed his hand upon her cheek. No words spoken, their eyes speaking of desire. Chris traced Stephanies face with his hand. Their eyes never look away. She took his hand in hers, and softly kissed his hand. He smiled at her their desired gaze grew stronger. Chris leaned down his curled blonde locks fall forward. His arms pull her in close. Stephanie closes her eyes in the warm embrace. Chris does not kiss her, yet he whispers in her ear.

She walks in beauty, like the night of cloudless climates and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright meet in her aspect and her eyes:
So mellowed to that tender light which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less, had half impaired the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress, or softly lightens over her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express how pure, how dear their dwelling-place.
And on that cheek, and over that brow,
so soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
but tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below, A heart whose love is innocent!

And with that Chris leaned back up. Stephanie had never heard such beautiful words spoken before she began to speak. Chris placed his finger up to her lips.

Shhh. No words. He lightly kissed her lips. Until tonight. Chris kissed her hand and turned and walked away. Stephanie stood there a moment. Her heart pounding, tears in her eyes. She had never thought that he could be so romantic. The anticipation for that night grew further, what exactly did he have planned.

The hour passed and Chris called Stephanie and told her to come to his room.
Hesitantly, unknowing whats to come this late evening, Stephanie stepped out the elevator, and walked in the direction of Chriss room. Her pace slowed as she came closer to his room. Now she stood facing the door. Taking a deep breath, she raised her fist to knock on the door. When she touched the door, it swung open, revealing the dark interior of the room.
Stepping back, startled, as if her nerves werent on edge already. Stephanie stood in the hall, holding her breath. Her heart pounded as she stood there rethinking the whole thing. Finally, gathering the last bit of courage she had for this escapade, clenched her fist and took a deep breath and she stepped into the room.

Hello? she said softly, walking farther into the room.
Behind her the door clicked shut. She turned quickly, but it was impossible to see anything through the darkness of the room. Someone was there she could sense a presence. Her heart beat faster, her eyes widened as slight fear set in. After all she really didnt know him very well. With a heavy swallow she begun to speak.

Chris? Is that you? Why is it so dark? she said with concern.
No answer. She turned back, catching a glimpse of a warm wavy glow through an open doorway. This must be a suite, she thought as she cautiously walked through to the room. In this room was a king-sized bed, candles burned all around.

Stephanie turned back to look into the room behind her. The delicate light from the candle made the room behind her seem even darker, so she took a step into the bedroom. The aroma of the candle was intoxicating, yet calming at the same time. She stood at the foot of the bed and there was an envelope with her name scrolled on the front. She picked it up and read the note inside.

Sweet Princess,
Skin as soft as yours
needs to be embraced
in only the purest water
and silkiest of soap.
Go into the bathroom,
there is a warm bath drawn
and the finest soap for your soft skin.

Stephanie made her way to the bathroom and as the note said, a warm bath was drawn and the finest soaps were lined up along the sink. Candles had been light throughout the whole bathroom. Orange rinds in the warm water that filled the tub. She undressed and eased into the warm water. She bathed in the finest soaps. Intoxicating aromas filled the room. She finished and toweled off, wrapping a towel around her she made her way into the bedroom again. A package with a soft red ribbon around it was now lying on the bed. A small folded paper was resting on top.

On the front of this folded paper was the words Sweet Princess.
Stephanie placed the paper down and picked up the package. She ran her fingers along the soft red ribbon, which was wrapped around the box. She carefully untied the ribbon and opened the box. Inside was a full-length red silk evening gown.
A soft smile grew on Stephanies face. She picked up the gown, held it close to her, the silk felt good on her soft skin. She looked back down at the box and there was another note. The front of this one read, Open me. Stephanie opened it and inside it read.
Your silk soft skin
must now be embraced
in the finest silk garments.
Put this on and
take a seat in the living room."

Stephanie put the gown on and took a seat in the living room. Candles had now been lit throughout the living room. A few minutes go by and there was a tap at the door. Hesitantly Stephanie answered it. To her surprise it was room service.

Good evening maam, here is your order." A young man said.

But I Stephanie began to say.

Have a good evening. The young man said as he left.

Stephanie shut the door. As she turned around to the room again music began to play. Soft romantic music suddenly filled the room. A voice whispered from the dark.

Its Pachelbels Canon, Romanic Guitar. I hope you like it.

Chris? Please tell me thats you? Chris ! Before she could get the words out a voice spoke.

Would you honor me with a dance The voice spoke again.

Stephanie peered into the room, but still couldnt see anything. She closed her eyes and bowed her head. Still with slight fear in her, she walked further in the room. Still darkness. The candles that were lit did not help in the darkness. Sudden desires that she had not felt for sometime pushed her onward. She stood there her heart pounding.
Her eyes had adjusted to the darkness, and she looked toward the doorway again, seeing a shadow moving into the room.
Chris moved through the doorway, and Stephanies passionate eyes took in the sight of the way the light from the candles light his face up. His blonde hair turns golden in the glowing light.
His eyes sparkled in the shine. Just as her body was wrapped in silk, so was his. His body was caressed in red silk pants and a knee length silk robe, which was not, tied shut. His muscular chest shined in the candles light. The sight took Stephanies breath away. He never looked as desirable then that moment.

His hand reached out to her. Dance with me. He said sweetly, gazing his soft blue eyes at her.

With no words spoken, Stephanie placed her hand in his and they danced. There eyes never leaving one anothers gaze. They moved as gracefully as doves flying through the clouds. He held her tight in his arms. Stephanie trembled in his soft touch. His warm gentle embrace soothes all of Stephanie's fears, she feels safe. Chris's arms were so strong, and muscular, yet so soft and gentle. It seemed like eternity as there bodies moved with the song.
The song came to an end. They stood in silence for a moment; Chris brought his hand up along Stephanies arm. Slowly he traced his hand up to her shoulder. Lightly caressing her neck. Chris leaned in to kiss Stephanie. Their lips meet, for a soft gentle kiss. Chris pulls back slightly and whispers.

I kissed an Angel.
Touched her face, fell in love.
Her smile, openness, and feminine ways
tell the world that she belongs to herself,
can give her love without reservation when its right.

With the confidence of a queen and the heart of a lioness,
her presence makes my world warmer and safer, yet more exciting.

Understanding and appreciating all of the subtle nuances
that make her unique among all others is my quest.
Loving her is my thrill.

I kissed an Angel. She kissed me back.
She has my heart.

Those words took Stephanies breath away. Such passion he spoke. Not just with his words but with his eyes. Stephanie began to cry. Chris with a worried look on his face set the glasses down.

Stephanie, did I upset you. Chris, almost crying at the thought of upsetting his love, looks upon his sweet love for forgiveness.
No, you didnt upset me. These are tears of joy. No one has ever said anything so wonderful to me before. Ive never heard such passion. Im sorry Stephanie said softly.

Chris grabbed her in his arms and comforted her.

Stephanie, you my love have nothing to be sorry for. It was my insecurities that held me back. The greatest love of my life left me so suddenly without words. I thought I would never fell such love again. Then I met you. And you opened my heart to love again. Tears formed in his eyes as he spoke.

Stephanie places her hand on his face, whipping the tears away; she kisses where the tears have fallen. They sat in silence, holding other.

Chris placed his hand on her soft face. This emotion, this passion and desire that they feel for one another further ignited their desires. They move closer to each other. Their lips meet. They kiss tenderly then firmly, their passions forbidden, then lustful. Stephanies lower lip quivered as Chris ran his tongue along it, she followed suit. Licking his lips as he tasted hers. Stephanie moves across his cheek, nibbling his flesh, approaching his ear. She reaches it, and whispers what her heart is screaming. I love you.

The words, and the rush of air accompanying them, caused a wave to flow over him. Chris held Stephanie as she trembles. He holds her tighter and tighter still. Together and in love, they sit kissing and hugging.

All this emotion ignites the fire of passion in them both, leaving them to wonder how far will this take them. Chris still wondered, what would she do if she knew I was Jericho and not her beloved Moongoose. Technically you are that guy, but not in her eyes. Shut up man, you have you love here right now. Romance her, make love to her, she fall in love with you, after she kills you. Damn, why was I always such an ass towards her? Forget it right now, concentrate on her.
