Today, many people don't care the feelings of the pets; They put them on the street after they play them.  So, some organization have set up to protect the pets.  The SPCA is one of the examples.

Introduction of the SPCA

 The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal (SPCA) was set up in 1903.  It is the first charity in Hong Kong to deal with all aspects of animals welfare.

Aim of SPCA

-To promote kindness and to prevent or suppress cruelty to animals.

-Collect the sick and injured animals in the street.

-Investigation about the complains of the cruelty animals.

-To teach the public on responsible to keep pets.

SPCA Home Department

 They provided different kinds of pet that people can keep then through this department.  Held some campaign to encourage people to take care of pets.

The mission of  this organization

To promote kindness to animals, to protect their health and welfare, to prevent cruelty and through education, to inspire in the community a deep respect for life so that all living creatures may live together harmony.
