Ok, I know the members page is a little confusing, so step by step, here's how you read it. Let's use me for an example. On the member page, my information looks like this:

Ok, first is my name, which appears in white. The capitol 'F' shows that I'm female. It's in pink for two reasons. The first being that many people consider the female color to be pink, and the male to be blue. Second is becuase I don't want it to look as if 'F' is my last initial. After my sex, it has the number 14. This is how old I am. After my age, it has USA, which is my country. It's in red, white, and blue, because those are my nations colors. If you're not from The United States, then don't worry, I'll make sure to use your nations colors. After my country, it says FMSB: Twilight Hunger. FMSB stands for Favorite Maggie Shayne Book. As you see, my favorite book is Twilight Hunger. After that, notice the @ symbol and then the www. The @ symbol is a link to email me, that's why its in lime green. The www is a link to my homepage. Any @ symbol or www that is white, means that that person wished to keep that information private. Just so everyone is clear, here is an example (not an actual member):
