Message: Hi! Iyadnan.
compliments of the season to you & other good people of Syria.
Please try HttPort it may be of use.
The URL is www.exetech-va.com/httport/
Good luck!
i also use HttPort for local news servers
and my mail activities. For example, i sent this message
using Httport with 12.3.96.10:8080 proxy instead of
remailers.
HTTPort opens virtual connection to the remote
address through a proxy server and then
emulate any remote service on your local
machine. That works with Http, Pop/Smtp, News,
Irc protocol like a charm.
HTTPort doesn't work with icq or ftp clients
but handy for bypassing server or channel bans on irc!
I think, this is due to the fact that icq and ftp uses
UDP and unpredictable several ports.
Httport may be downloaded at:
http://www.geocities.com/researchtriangle/6651/httport.htm
When you start up the HTTPort for the first time, it has
no proxy defined. You should enter an open proxy server address
on the "System" tab with port number (like 80 or 8080) You should edit the "localhost:8080" entry on the
"Port mapping" tab to any other 'working' web proxy.
