Subject: Some suggestion for MP
62.6.224.180--->
Message: Little suggestion. Don't know how difficult it will be to implement, but here goes:
Is it possible to make MP work with 2 ports and 2 separate proxy lists? That way it might be possible to use normal proxies and ones specifically for SSL. Then you just have to configure IE or NN to use port, say 8089, for secure connections through MP and SSL supporting proxies and 8088 for normal browsing.
At present I have no idea how MP handles SSL connections. Is it using secure proxies or just first available one? That prevents me from using MP for SSL and I would be interested in any info that Mishkin can provide.
Best regards

Message: RD: I can't tell you about SSL connections but I can tell you MP will run on seperate ports. Just click on a second MP and set to whichever port you enjoy. Multiple MP's can run simultaneously, one you use and the other checks IP's (or run both for surfing). P.S.: Keep up the good work.

Nelson, running 2 instances of the same program is not my kind of fun. I'm trying my best to get rid of clutter in systray. BTW, Nelson, CYM on usa.net.
OK people, thank you for replies.

P.S. I wonder: will the scream "Mishkin, your silence suck!!!" get the necessary attention? LOL

Message: RD: I agree, I'm trying to limit the amount of resources consumed by all this securityware. Not sure what else to do but get a better processor. MP is not the greatest, but it beats most of what's available.
P.S.: Mishkin posts (often under psuedonyms) whenever he goddamn well feels like it. He IS the master, don't cha know! ("I am the great and powerful OZ!") Nothing personal Mish!
