Last september we were forced to change our isp from chromenet to philcom. Unfortunately, philcom don't include webspace as part of their basic package. These pages are hosted by Yahoo who don't allow the direct ftp of files which the webcam needed.

Another thing is, the webcam itself, or rather the software (the driver, not the capture s/w), was rather unreliable and used to cause my server to crash, especially when printing.

There are sites which do allow ftp, such as tripod, and I tried the webcam there. It worked, but it also brought back the aforementioned unreliability issues, so I decided to install it on one of the workstations for customer use instead.
