Weed Overdose?

It is said that weed is impossible to overdose on. This, in my opinion, is untrue. It is true that you would pass out long before having a lethal dose of marijuana, but an overdose doesn't have to be lethal. An overdose simply occurs from smoking too much, or from a bad reaction. Everyone reacts differently from smoking pot to a certain extent. One person may love a certain type of weed, while another person may be unaffected.
After smoking too much weed, or even the wrong type of weed, you may experience a weed overdose. The common symptoms of smoking too much weed is nausea, vomitting, headaches/migraines, dizziness, sleepiness, and panic. If you are experiencing this after smoking weed, the best thing for you to do is walk it off, or sleep.
If a friend is overdosing, it's your responsibility to keep them safe. Frequently remind them that what they're experiencing is only because of the drug, and that it will wear off soon. Assure them that they're okay and they'll feel better shortly. If they are puking, stay with them to make sure they don't choke. When they feel like they are done vomitting, get them walking. If they say they are unable to walk, don't force them to. Movement and cool air both help a great deal. Stay with them until they are well enough to go home. After the initial vomitting and panic stage, sleep is the best answer. After a great deal of weed, the following sleep may last an extremely long time. I've seen the after-overdose sleep last 18 hours straight. This is perfectly healthy.
All in all, there aren't any long term effects, other than feeling generally crappy the following day. Hopefully you, or your friend, would have learned how much weed is too much weed for them.
