~IN THE BEGINNING
It all started last summer, in the Xavier football field. Some joined the Milo Clinic, just for fun. Wala lang. Others, for other purposes. (Ano kaya yon?) It was a hard struggle at first, trying out the sport, from time to time feeling discouraged because it was indeed hard to smoothly master each and every drill that was taught (not to mention, the scorching heat that came with it). Also came the factors of fitting in and making friends. Despite these factors, it was also a time when bonds were formed, lasting memories were made and the love for football was created. Summer had ended, and the girls couldn't get enough of the sport, thus continuing to go to training every Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays during the school year. More and more joined the team. Bonds continued to be made and grew. Some stop joining trainings because of their hectic schedules, yet some persevered and continued to go to every single training session to improve even more (chaka para sulit ung bayad sa club! haha)
Team bondings range from after training bonding time at the fishball stand outside Xavier, Pancake House lunches, hangout time at Sandy's house (your house rocks!), mall gimiks, and of course, during tournaments in Alabang, CSA and Ateneo.
We've been through so much, from triumphs and defeats, endless teasing, pauso phrases like, "Can't take this madness no more!", loud psycho laughs echoing throughout the field, ocho-ocho in the field, to ripped shorts (you know who you are! jk!;) ) and other unforgettable crazy antics. Summer has come once again. Let's make this one even more unforgettable. :)
~THE TEAM
Our team consists of girls ranging from first year to fourth year high school students, studying from various schools such as ICA, Poveda, Assumption, OBMC, etc. yet we get along just fine. No school rivalries here. :)
